We are seeking an energetic and passionate Junior Designer to work collaboratively with our boutique firm and assist our clients with achieving their design goals.

Candidates must be local to the Bay Area with technical abilities required but no previous experience with other firms necessary. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities

Assisting Senior Designers with the execution of all project goals through all design phases.
Independently formulate designs under the guidance of the Senior Designer.

Work independently on pricing furniture & materials for clients and create client proposals.
Take initiative, problem solve, collaborate & communicate effectively with the Design Team.

Prioritize tasks and coordinate completion of projects.
Maintain vendor relationships and maintain the Studio library materials.

Development of furniture packages Develop, prepare and produce quality presentations and prepare senior designer and team for client presentations.

Assist with furniture installations.

Qualifications

Must be detail oriented.
Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors.
Must have a reliable car with a valid drivers license.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD & Sketch Up.
